PREFACE

This Train Your Brain Training Manual was written with the intent to help "parents and professionals become train your brain specialist at home or in the office. Parents were never given a manual on child development. This is it. Our world would be a better place if everyone had this manual. The author’s intention is for you to use the manual and pass the good news along.

Parent's specifically are responsible and in charge of their offspring’s growth and development and there are essential methods for organized development to match and fulfill that awesome responsibility.

This train your brain manual will give everyone a foundation to all stand on for a stronger understanding these proven principles as parents and professionals engage in the development as guide their children and students in this important development process.

This material contains information from research articles, books, and studies written by experts. It covers many disciplines of science in order to develop a scientifically accurate representation of training the brain in child development.

The authors are not claiming anything beyond the scientific facts herein. The authors through there own experience have simply organized this detailed information into a usable model to establish a concise developmental plan to train your bran.

The authors are the parents of twelve children between them. Their backgrounds and experience in natural medicine, psychology, chemistry, and special education, plus their parenting skills all combined has developed this encyclopedic manual that will train parents to raise happy, successful, competent children.

These techniques are used in clinical settings with patients and in the classroom with students, and, in their homes. These times tested methods and techniques work very well all based thousands successful cases.

This manual is an encyclopedia, but do not claim it is totally exhaustive. The manual is organized in such a fashion for each level of development was taught to lead to the next level of development, until competency in that area was achieved. Consequently, we attempted to teach skills or define techniques that allowed for development of function rather than development of endless lists of skills. Obviously then, many kinds of activities were omitted if they were found to be a repetition of a more functional skill.

The idea of learning and development does not occur in a vacuum. Because the brain is able to receive sensory stimuli even as a three to four month old fetus, the fact is at birth a baby’s ability to receive, process, store, and utilize monitor information is phenomenal. There is no known book written that documents these methodologies describe herein.

 

The awe-some capabilities of an infant’s brain is remarkable, even when compared to an adult’s brain function.

As parents and professionals read this manual, they will come to understand what these authors have known and used for over thirty years.

Learning does not occur singularly--in a void or vacuum. When parents and professionals are teaching one skill or administering one technique, there is multiply brain associations happening simultaneously. There is much overlap in many techniques and we find that that is good: It is part of Natures natural development process.

Learning and development are sometimes difficult to measure and has many facets, including natural nutrition.

Sensory Input section is placed first, then Motor Output last. This is because the brain first has to receive the information before the brain can develop any output function. Parents and professionals may need to read each developmental section several times, in order to become familiar with the terminology and techniques described.

Developmental forms are included to assist in evaluating children. Multiple methods of learning and development techniques are given as meaningful activities in organized brain development.

Sociologists say the first six years leaning in life is taught to us through parents and siblings.

Psychologists say that most of our personality is formed by age five.

Educators say 90% of most of what we will learn about life is acquired by age six.
