Everyone dreams of looking slim and trim. You can too. Where does it all start?

BLOOD SUGAR

First we'll talk nutrition. Most everyone have experienced the "low blood sugar blues" -- periodic fatigue, low energy, forgetfulness, loss of focus, spacing out, sugar or carbohydrate cravings. Even athletes; the marathoner who hits the wall; the golfer who loses concentration after a few hours.

The common mentality is: Eat more carbohydrates, and everything will be fine. Is this the right answer at getting at the underlying root cause of blood sugar problems? Absolutely not! Obesity is now at epidemic proportions, even children are showing up with serious blood sugar problems.

New research is pointing directly to high carbohydrate intake as the real culprit, which causes a rapid rise on blood sugar. To prevent excessive blood sugar levels, the body produces the storage hormone insulin, which acts to store blood sugar into the muscles and liver in the form of glycogen, and any excess calories as body fat. Also when Insulin rises it stops the body from burning fat and goes into a vicious roller coaster cycle of more sugar cravings and obviously you continue to get fatter and are at risk for heart disease, stroke, diabetes, kidney failure and obviously an early death.

TESTING BLOOD SUGAR

Four tests are available:

There are four (4) tests for blood sugar.

1. A kinesiology muscle response test, which reveals:

bulletHypoglycemic
bulletHyperglycemic
bulletPre-diabetic

These are the tests I have done on in my office on my patients personally for the last twenty-years. It is easy, accurate and your blood sugar handling condition can be revealed immediately and corrected on the spot with specific changes in your nutritional intake. If you doctor is not aware of this program send him to the doctor seminar link.

2. The three other blood sugar tests are Fasting blood sugar (FBS)

3. 2 hours after eating

4. Randam

Normal Results from those blood tests

Normal

Normal results may vary from lab to lab.

Blood Glucose
Fasting blood glucose:less than 110 milligrams per deciliter (6.1 mmol/L)
2-hour after eatingless than 140 mg/dL (7.8 mmol/L)
Random (casual):less than 126 mg/dL (7.0 mmol/L)

Greater-than-normal values

bulletThe American Diabetes Association (ADA) criteria for diagnosing diabetes are met when any of the following results have been repeated on at least two different days:
bulletA fasting blood glucose level is 126 mg/dL (7.0 mmol/L) or higher.
bulletA 2-hour oral glucose tolerance test result is 200 mg/dL (11.1 mmol/L) or higher.
bulletIf your fasting blood glucose level is between 110 mg/dL (6.1 mmol/L) and 126 mg/dL (7.0 mmol/L), you are considered to have prediabetes (impaired fasting glucose) and you have an increased risk for developing diabetes.
bulletOther conditions that can cause high blood glucose levels include severe stress, heart attack, stroke, Cushing's syndrome, and medications such as corticosteroids (prednisone).
